Croatia: Karlovacka Pivovara gets a new CEO

Monique Peters was confirmed on May 04 on the position of CEO of the Heineken ’s Croatian subsidiary Karlovacka Pivovara, company’s officials revealed on May 04. “Peters comes to replace Alle Ypma, who has until 1 May been chairman-in-office of Karlovacka Pivovara”, they said on the same occasion.

Heineken N.V. owns 97.48% of the brewer after it had acquired in 2003 68.8% of the shares of the Croatian brewer Karlovacka Pivovara for an amount of 1,804.59 kuna (EUR 234.61) per share from Southern Breweries Establishment.

The company brews the Desperados, Karlovacko and Heineken brands. Its portfolio includes Karlovacka Svijetlo lager, Rally alcohol -free beer and Karlovacka Crno dark beer.
